About Demetrios
Demetrios James Elias was born in the port of Piraeus near Athens, Greece. As a young boy, he immigrated to the United States with his family. While still in school, he assisted his parents in their family-owned bridal store in Warren, Ohio. It was during this time that his love of the bridal industry grew and his passion for designing wedding dresses took hold.
In 1980, Demetrios’ dream of owning his own company became a reality. He purchased Ilissa Bridals of New York City. Virtually overnight, he turned an unknown local business into a thriving, international company. Today, bridal boutiques throughout the world proudly sell Demetrios wedding dresses. With “Brides by Demetrios” stores, as well as “Bridal Salons By Demetrios” located in Macy’s stores throughout the nation, Demetrios has been established as a prestigious leader in the bridal industry. As both designer and owner, Demetrios is an icon in the bridal fashion industry. His wedding dresses offer women the widest and most versatile styles, and are on the cutting edge of the fashion world.
About Enzoani
The design team behind Enzoani’s collections is led by the award-winning master designer Kang Chun Lin, a graduate of the London College of Fashion, who brings an avant garde inspiration to a timeless design esthetic. Kang Chun has been designing bridal gowns for nearly 20 years and he leads a team of designers who continuously strive to improve and expand on their prior work and accomplishments.
About Randy Fenoli
Stepping outside of the bridal arena, Randy served as a fashion commentator for The Associated Press on the red carpet of the 2010 Academy Awards. Fenoli frequently speaks at bridal shows, giving advice to brides through creative and entertaining stage presentations & personal consultations. As a well-respected member of the bridal industry, Randy also speaks at many major bridal industry events across the globe.
As a writer and contributor, Randy is often featured and quoted in many publications such as People, Parade, and In Touch magazines and in nearly all of the bridal magazines, including, Brides, The Bridal Guide, Bride and Bloom, Southern Weddings, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, New Jersey Bride and Florida Bride magazines. Besides posting his own blog on his website, Fenoli often acts as a contributor to other websites & blogs including theknot.com, theringbearer.com, kleinfeldbridal.com, & TLC.com. On November 1, 2011 Randy released his first book, Its All About the Dress, the brides ultimate guide for shopping for a wedding gown. Randy Fenoli’s appeal reaches far beyond bridal. His natural charm & enthusiasm is infectious, making everyone who comes in contact with him feel beautiful.
About Pronovias
Pronovias is a family firm that began life in El Suizo, a prestigious Barcelona store founded in 1922 that specialised in the lace, embroidery and high-quality silk fabrics demanded by the brides of Catalonia’s high society. The company presented its first collection of prêt-a-porter wedding gowns in Spain in 1964 – a great novelty in the sector at the time. The Pronovias brand was born during the same decade and in 1968 it once again took a pioneering step: it opened the first specialised bridal shops in Spain.
Over the next decade, Pronovias opened 80 shops in Spain and new routes for international expansion with the opening of new European markets through affiliates in France, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as moving into the Latin American market. Pronovias continued to expand during the 1990s with the introduction of affiliates in the United States and Canadian markets and opens the first Pronovias stores in Europe.In 2006, Pronovias opened its first shop in the UK, at London’s prestigious New Bond Street, and also an in store boutique in Harrods.
